Game counts and big bonus percentages are the easiest things to advertise and the least useful to compare. The five checks below are about what happens to your money: who holds it, how it comes back out, what a bonus asks of it, how the games are priced and how you stop.
Who runs the casino
Scroll to the bottom of the site and read the footer before the lobby. You are looking for a company name, a regulator and a licence or permit number. A Nigerian footer can cite a state board, a federal permit or both; who regulates gambling in Nigeria explains why. Copy the number and look for it in the regulator’s own records where they are published. A footer that shows only badges, or names a body you cannot trace, is a reason to leave.
The naira cashier and withdrawals
A real cash online casino is only as good as its cashier. Check that it shows NGN and local options you already use, such as Opay, PalmPay, Paystack or Verve cards, and that limits are listed for each method separately. Then read the withdrawal section of the Terms: which documents are needed before the first payout, whether proof of address is required, and whether a pending withdrawal can be cancelled. Real money play versus demo mode

Worked example
You deposit ₦20,000 and get a 100% match, a ₦20,000 bonus. With a wager of 30 times the bonus, you must stake ₦20,000 × 30 = ₦600,000 before the bonus becomes cash. At ₦200 a spin, that is ₦600,000 ÷ ₦200 = 3,000 spins. If the wager counts deposit plus bonus, the total doubles to ₦1,200,000.
Also look for a cap on what bonus winnings you can withdraw, a maximum bet while wagering, a wagering deadline and a list of games that count. If any of these is missing, ask support in writing before you play.
Phone play, support and ways to stop
Open the lobby in your phone’s browser on mobile data and try search, the provider filter and a live table. Send support a concrete question about withdrawals and see whether the answer is specific.
