1win Payment Methods for Naira Deposits and Payouts

The 1win payment methods for Nigeria are all naira routes: the deposit cashier lists nine options across Opay, PalmPay, Paga, Paystack, Flutterwave and Nigerian cards, and the site lists six providers for withdrawals. There is no crypto in the NGN cashier and fees are not shown. We viewed the cashier on 08.10.2026 without paying in or cashing out, so this page maps what is listed rather than how each route performs.

Deposit methods in the NGN cashier

Glowing path linking round glass markers

The deposit list in our check had nine entries: Opay, Transfer Paystack, PalmPay, Paga, Pay with Bank Paystack, Nigerian cards (Visa, Mastercard, Verve), Pay by USSD Paystack, Bank Transfer Flutterwave and USSD Flutterwave. They fall into three groups, and the group decides what you need on your phone before you start.

Wallets: Opay, PalmPay and Paga

Opay, PalmPay and Paga are wallet routes, paid from a wallet balance. None of the three showed its own minimum or maximum in the list.

Paystack and Flutterwave: transfers and USSD

Five entries run through two Nigerian payment processors. Paystack appears three times: Transfer Paystack, Pay with Bank Paystack and Pay by USSD Paystack. Flutterwave appears twice: Bank Transfer Flutterwave and USSD Flutterwave. The transfer options move money from a bank account, and the USSD options work from a phone without a banking app. These five also showed no separate limits.

Nigerian cards

The card entry accepts Nigerian cards from the three brands named in the list. In our check it was the only method with its own range per deposit, shown in the table below. That range belongs to cards. The general cashier minimum is also ₦1,000, but nothing on the list says the card ceiling applies to wallets or transfers.

For the order of steps and what to do when money leaves your account but does not arrive, follow our step-by-step deposit walkthrough.

How wallet, USSD and card payments usually work

Wallet with a green tick

This is a general description of how these payment types usually work in Nigeria, not a record of 1win’s screens: we did not make a deposit, so we did not see any provider step on 1win.

  • Wallets: the payment is usually approved inside the wallet app, so the wallet needs enough balance and you need to be signed in on the same phone.
  • USSD: you usually dial a code from the phone number registered with your bank, which can help when mobile data is weak; the session can time out if you take too long.
  • Transfers: you usually send money from your bank app to account details shown on the screen, sometimes with a reference that must match.
  • Cards: a card payment usually ends on your bank’s one-time password screen, and some banks block gambling payments on cards, so a declined card can be a bank-side setting.

Withdrawal methods the site lists

The payout side is shorter. The site states six withdrawal methods: Opay, Paystack, PalmPay, Paga, Visa (Nigerian cards) and Flutterwave. We could not open the withdrawal form itself, because it sits behind the identity check, so this list is what the site states, not what we saw inside the form.

Two differences from the deposit side stand out. The card route is named as Visa (Nigerian cards) only, so the other two card brands appear on the deposit list alone. And Paystack and Flutterwave are each listed once for payouts, without the separate transfer, bank and USSD variants the deposit cashier shows. Minimums, maximums and payout times are not shown. The documents, the verification check and the cancel option are covered in our explanation of the full withdrawal process.

Matching a deposit route to a payout route

Choosing a 1win payment method is easier if you pick one that appears on both lists. The table sets the two lists side by side. A bettor who funds the account with a Mastercard, for example, may need a different route for cashing out, because only Visa is named on the payout list the site states, so setting up a wallet or a bank route through Paystack or Flutterwave before the first win avoids a scramble later.

What the cashier does not show

A complete 1win payment overview has to include the gaps, because they affect the real cost of betting.

  • Fees: not shown for any method. Your bank, wallet or USSD provider may charge its own cost.
  • Limits: wallets, transfers and USSD list none in the cashier.
  • Times: no crediting time for deposits and no payout time for withdrawals.
  • Crypto: not available in the NGN cashier.

What third-party reports say about payout speed, and why we treat it with caution, is set out on the withdrawal page linked above.

Payment agents and third-party transfers

Some bettors look for an agent who tops up their account or pays out winnings for a fee. We saw no payment-agent option in the NGN cashier list, and the site does not name any agent route. Sending money to a person who promises to fund your 1win account means trusting someone the operator does not list, with no record in your account if the money disappears. Pay only through the methods inside the cashier, from accounts in your own name, and never share your password or one-time codes with anyone offering to “help” with a deposit. If you want to know who runs the site and which permits the footer names, read our review of the operator’s footer and permits.

Picking a route for how you bet

Frequent small top-ups for weekend football fit a wallet you already use on your phone, while a larger monthly deposit fits a bank transfer through Paystack or Flutterwave, where you should read the limits on the method screen before paying. Either way, check that the provider also appears on the withdrawal list.

Pros

  • Familiar Nigerian wallets and processors on both the deposit and the payout side
  • USSD options for bettors without a banking app or stable data
  • Card limits printed on the card option
  • No unlisted intermediaries needed: every route sits inside the cashier

Cons

  • Fees and processing times are not shown for any method
  • Only cards show limits; withdrawal limits appear only after verification
  • Two of the three card brands are missing from the payout list
  • No crypto in the naira cashier

Verdict on 1win payment methods

7.2/10 The naira cashier covers the main ways Nigerians move money: three wallets, two processors with transfer and USSD variants, and local cards. Five providers appear on both the deposit and the payout side, so one route can serve the whole cycle. Against that, the cashier says almost nothing about cost and speed, and withdrawal limits stay hidden until verification.

It suits bettors who already use Opay, PalmPay, Paga or a bank app and want to fund and cash out through the same provider.

Who should skip it: anyone who needs crypto, or who wants every fee and limit stated before choosing a method.
